Yitian Luan was nominated from the »Opernwelt« (Germany) as the best young singer 2012. The chinese soprano emerged several times as winner of renowned international competitions. In 2010, she won the 1. Prize in the discipline Operetta and the special Prize of the International »Hans Gabor Belvedere« Singing Competition in Vienna. In 2011, she received the 2. Prize of the International »Belcanto« Singing Competition in Passau, and in 2012 the 3. Prize and the special Prize of the European Singing Competition »Debut« in Weikersheim. In 2013 she won the 2. Prize and the audience Prize of the International »ArtOpera« Singing Competition in Frankfurt.


Yitian Luan sang 2015 and 2016 with great success at the Bregenz Festival as Liù in »Turandot«. She made her Debut at the Vienna Volksoper as Lauretta in »Gianni Schicchi« and Gilda in »Rigoletto« and Erste Dame in »Die Zauberflöte« at the Cologne Opera. At the summer festival of Opera på Skäret in Sweden, she celebrated the great success in the title role »Lucia di Lammermoor«. In one concert performence of the Dresdener Philharmonic sang she Prima Donna in »Viva la Mamma«. At the State Theatre Wiesbaden, she debut as Olympia, Antonia, Giulietta, Stella in »Les Contes d`Hoffmann«. At the National Centre for the Performing Arts Peking (NCPA) she appeared as Liù in »Turandot«, as Rosalinde in »Die Fledermaus« and as Oscar in »Un ballo in maschera«. Also the roles: Violetta in »La Traviata«, Konstanze in »Die Entführung aus dem Serail«, Mimì in »La Bohème« belong to her repertoire.


Till the End of the season 2016/17, Yitian Luan was the Member of the State Theatre Saarbrücken, for her excellent portrayal of the title role in »Lucia di Lammermoor« she was awarded the “SponsorClub-Theatre Prize” 2014/15. The saarbrücker audience could expierence her as Donna Anna in »Don Giovanni«, Alice Ford in »Falstaff«, Olympia/Antonia/Giulietta in »Les Contes d’Hoffmann«, Adina in »L’elisir d’amore«, Gretel in »Hänsel und Gretel«, La Folie in Rameau’s »Platée«, Miss Jessel in Britten’s »The Turn of the Screw«, 1. Niece in »Peter Grimes«, Königin von Schemacha in Rimski-Korsakov’s »Der goldene Hahn« and also as Prinzessin in Nino Rotas »Aladin und die Wunderlampe«.


Yitian Luan has sung in important Concert Halls such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Shanghai Philharmonic, the Busan Philharmonic, the cultural Palace Dresden, the Herkulessaal Munich and the Concert Hall of the National Centre for the Performing Arts Peking. She worked with the renowned conductors Myung-Whun Chung, Yoel Levi, Paolo Carignani, Alain Altinoglu, Asher Fisch and Axel Kober. The concerts were in the form of Liederabenden, Opera and Oratorio performances and Concert Galas. She has given Concert tours in Germany, in the Netherlands, France, Italy, Austria, Poland, China, Taiwan and Korea. In 2010 she performed in several Gala Concerts of the Shanghai World Expo Music Festival.


Yitian Luan studied singing in Germany; she passed her examination Diploma then her postgraduate study Konzertexamen Singing at the Music Academy Detmold and the Music Academy Cologne, both with Distinction.
